Good Morning

Mornings dawning light
The rest of sleep well had
open my eyes and wonder
what ahead may lie

Covers back
legs out
Stretch
to greet the world

With dawns light
I look upon my world
and wonder what this day will bring

With the morning sun in my eyes
I hope and dream
That fun this day will bring

flowers of the day
stars of the night
each a creation to inspire
give me stars as flowers
give me flowers as stars
so i may never no a time
without flowers or stars

The dark draws in
The light withdraws
Bring then dawns early light
Speed the day upon it’s way
To sights unseen

Time has come
Time of death
Yet i linger
Lingering still
Holding to life

Time who was my friend
Time who is now my enemy

Here i stand upon this field
Here i stand alone
Here i stand upon this field of battle
Surrounded by my dead

Alone i stood
Alone i fought

My enermy alone i faced

Here i stand to this day

My foe's i fought
My foe's i defeated

For i stand alone
upon this field of life
But not alone i stand
for about me stand my friend's
